Writing a letter to a beloved, putting our pen or pencil to paper, survives as a most personal expression of our affection, love & friendship…& in so many families at this time, a most personal expression of loss & grief…
This workshop offers the time and place, for those among us who are seeking the solace & comfort of putting our thoughts & feelings into words. Your letter may become a precious gift, someday, to the future generations in our lives, if that is your intention.
One’s letter may never be intended for delivery, may never be enclosed in an envelope…never to be mailed…perhaps never to be shared. One’s letter has the potential to preserve memories & images only you can express...each letter-writer may wish to choose a paper of particular size, shape, color & texture on which to write. One’s hand-written letter offers & preserves the letter-writer’s ‘voice’ as no other medium can.
As we join for this workshop, we will enjoy the comfort & pleasure of homemade soup! In the spirit of “pot-luck” it would be lovely if participants would bring breads &/or Cheese or any other accompaniment for us to share!
Enrollment is limited to 12
